THE FOUNDERS
At FERNÉ, our journey began not in a showroom, but in a small workshop, with a love of craft, a belief in quiet excellence, and a desire to do things differently.
Our early years taught us a lot.
Some lessons came through experience, others by observing how the wider industry approached things.
We saw incredible potential in every project, but also recognised how easily it could be diluted by complexity, unclear communication, or missed opportunities to truly
listen to the client.
These insights became our turning point.
We stepped back, re-evaluated every stage of the journey, and asked an important question:
What does an exceptional experience really look like
and how can we deliver it, every time?
FERNÉ was born from that decision: to build a company where beautiful design meets intelligent delivery.
A process that’s calm, considered, and deeply personal,
from first conversation to final fitting.
Led by meticulous project management and grounded in years of hands-on craftsmanship, our small team creates cabinetry and furniture for the entire home.
Kitchens, pantries, utility rooms, boot rooms, dressing rooms and living room furniture.
All beautifully made and tailored to how you live.
We take on a select number of projects a year, allowing us to focus fully on quality, service, and the finer details.
Because true luxury isn’t louder, it’s quieter, more thoughtful,
and better in the ways that matter.

THE DESIGNERS
We've recently welcomed Sam and Maria to our design team.
Two exceptionally experienced professionals whose shared passion for intelligent craft aligns perfectly with FERNÉ’s ethos.
Maria brings a wealth of high-end design experience from her eight-year tenure as a bespoke bar designer and studio manager working with brands such as Soho House, The Ritz, and Dishoom.
Sam complements her expertise with an equally impressive background, holding a Master’s in Product and Furniture Design and honing his skills as a Senior Design Engineer at Dyson for eight years. He was even recognised with the
British Design Council’s Future Pioneer Award.
Together, they collaborate closely with our founders,
Louis and Kathryn, combining industry-leading technical design prowess with FERNÉ’s bespoke approach.
In partnership, they elevate every project, whether it’s a kitchen, dressing area, pantry, or utility room, ensuring each piece is shaped with precision, purpose,
and a deep understanding of how our clients live.
