Step Stool

Our handmade step stool is made from European Oak Hardwood, can be personalised with letter engraving on it's top and finished in our 5 curated oil stains or painted in a bespoke colour of your choice.

Returns

• As each ladder is made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, size, or design preference.

Faults & Defects

• In the unlikely event your ladder arrives with a manufacturing fault, we will repair or replace it free of charge.
• We will also cover all postage costs for returning the faulty item and sending the repaired or replacement ladder.

How to Report a Fault

• Please notify us within 24 hours of receiving the goods if you believe your ladder has a defect.
• Email contact@fernefurniture.co.uk with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the product and packaging.
• Keep all original packaging until we confirm next steps. We’ll arrange collection and repair/replacement promptly.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Delivery Service

• We offer free delivery on all ladders, with no hidden costs.
• Orders are dispatched via our trusted courier partners to ensure safe and timely delivery.

Delivery Times

• As each ladder is handcrafted to order, please allow 2–4 weeks for production before dispatch.
• Once dispatched, delivery typically takes 2–5 working days, depending on your location.

Receiving Your Order

• All deliveries will require a signature upon receipt. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery at the agreed address.
• If you are unable to receive the delivery, our courier will leave instructions to rearrange.

Damages in Transit

• Please inspect your ladder upon delivery.
• Any damage must be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt, including clear photographs of the product and packaging, so we can resolve the issue promptly.
